How to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of quartz

1. Hardness: The surface Mohs hardness is 7, and a simple testing method is to observe the condition of the damage point by squeezing it with an iron pointed object, without any scratches.
2. High temperature resistance: can withstand a temperature of 300 ℃. Place a stainless steel cup filled with boiling water on the countertop for 30 minutes without changing color. Or place a burning cigarette tip on a quartz stone without changing color.
3. Identify the trademark on the front of the quartz stone.
4. Environmental friendliness: Able to provide green environmental certification tested by authoritative departments.
5. Fire resistance: A 10mm x 30mm quartz fine strip cannot be burned on an open flame.
6. Acid and alkali resistance: Use 3% hydrochloric acid solution or 100g/L citric acid solution, 30g/L sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide solution to corrode the surface without significant visible changes.
7. Water absorption rate: less than 0.04%. After sprinkling a small amount of water on the surface of quartz for 24 hours, observe that there is no whitening of the color.
8. High quality quartz stone does not contain residual solvents and has no pungent chemical odor.
9. High quality quartz stones are printed with computer anti-counterfeiting spray codes on the back (that is, the color code or code you choose for the countertop stone).
