Quartz stone belongs to artificial synthetic stone sheets made by die casting, with a higher density and much heavier weight compared to artificial and natural stones. If the load-bearing capacity of the cabinet can reach, there is no need to add padding strips or plates. However, many cabinets currently use composite boards, which are weaker in terms of load-bearing. In this case, using a cushion strip or plate is better because it can evenly distribute the force on the countertop to the entire cabinet.
