Cleaning of stains on quartz stone countertops:
May 13,2024

1. Daily oil or vegetable stains can be wiped directly with a damp cloth (do not use a dry cloth, as it has high friction and is not easy to wipe off, it may also accelerate pollution). If a wet cloth cannot wipe it clean, you can use detergent to wipe it.
2. For stubborn stains on the countertop, the cleaning steps can be simply summarized as "one soaking, two wiping, and three waxing", which can be cleaned using the following methods:
① For dishwashing detergent, you can first sprinkle a layer of warm water at around 50 ℃ on the contaminated area, then drop a few drops of dishwashing detergent, soak for 15 minutes, and then wipe with a cloth.
② Use baking soda for cleaning. First, make the contaminated area damp or sprinkle some water, then sprinkle baking soda powder on top, soak for about 10 minutes, and then wipe with a cloth.
③ Wipe with alcohol or wet wipes
For general oil stains, you can first wipe them clean with a damp towel, then add alcohol to wipe them, or you can directly wipe them with a damp towel because they contain certain solvent components that can effectively remove oil stains.
④ You can also use laundry detergent to clean. The laundry detergent can be mixed with water or alcohol in a ratio of 1:0.5, which makes it more viscous and has a certain friction force. You can soak the prepared laundry detergent in 5-10 minutes, then brush it with a small brush until the stains are removed, and then rinse it with clean water. Finally, apply a layer of wax according to daily maintenance methods.
⑤ To clean with a soap and water eraser, first clean the contaminated area with a damp cloth, then soak it in soap and water for 5-10 minutes, then use the eraser to wipe vigorously, and finally wash it clean with water. (This method is more effective for ink stains or pen prints)
⑥ To use toothpaste for cleaning, apply a layer of toothpaste to the contaminated area, let it stand for 5-10 minutes, then use a cloth or brush to scrub until the stain is removed, and finally apply a layer of wax to the scrubbed area.
⑦ Using white vinegar for cleaning can be done by adding a few drops of white vinegar to the contaminated area, soaking for a few minutes, and then wiping with a damp cloth. (This method is more effective for rust stains)
⑧ You can also use five cleaning powders or table rust removers. You can soak the contaminated area for a few minutes, then wipe it with a damp cloth, and finally wax the cleaned area.
If none of the above methods can be removed, it is necessary to report to the manufacturer and have a dedicated person handle it.
